Did everyone else's coverage get pre-emted in the bottom of the 4th inning for infomercials? I realize this is a prelim, but if they are going to edit some parts out, I wish it wouldn't be a Bustos homerun! I hope NBC can afford to put more videocameras up (along with some cameramen that have actually shot a baseball/softball game before) for the future games, perhaps they can spare one of the ones shooting badmiton or table tennis! <apologies to you badmiton / table tennis fans> At least the color analyst is knowledgeable, maybe they can work a deal with Mendoza to come up to the booth once they build a lead and take over the play by play for that other schmoe. Good game though, I loved Lowe's inside the park HR.

I think it is a camera. In the second (if I remember correctly), they showed a view of a pitch coming in. It looked like it could only be from the view of the umpire, or maybe a helmet cam from the catcher.

I fell asleep about the 4th inning but what about Venezuela's outfield? I saw 2 routine pop fly's that were dropped.. One was a can of corn.

yeah, that was awful. When my 9 yr old watches it tonight, I am going to tell her to cover her eyes when its hit to thier outfield, like I do when other not-fit-for-her-eyes stuff comes on the tube!
