What are the latest rumors in So Cal?

What's on your mind?

MILKMAN - I AM PAYING ABOUT $3.25 PER GALLON. SOUND ABOUT RIGHT :?:

I see a new team Orange Crush (I think) that seems new since I was there. Is this a spin off of one of the BS teams? Where did SS end up?

Sounds like you're one of the lucky ones who pays $125 a month to the Jeff Bankroll funds.

You are right. Bomb Squad is better off without 2 complete coaching staffs, and the entire Black and TCS finalist 95 team. Replacing entire successful teams absolutely marks BS as a well balanced organization. If only CA, VUSA, LL, AA, and USAA would follow in the BS footsteps, i'm sure they would be as successful.

Sadness,

You need to get your facts straight. The Black Team left on their own. The '95 team coaches were replaced due to philisophical differences, and brought in two All Americans to run the team. All families were offered to come back, some did, some didn't. The ones who didn't were wished the best of luck. However, when these things happen some people feel scorned and feel that they need to drag names through the mud. The best guage would be to ask the families who stayed if they are happy with the changes. But maybe its just easier to make things up. It makes for more interesting copy.

Rumor has it that So Cal JYNX is the Top 96 team out there. I watched them play, awesome kids and also coaching staff. Very agressive playing. Will watch out for more from this team!

I am not 100% sure about this but I think 8 or 9 left with the coach and stayed with the coach.

Going with the theory that "No press is bad press"...

Bomb Squad 97 is having our last open workout/tryout this Saturday (1/19). We are looking for two more impact players. The team should be set after this last tryout.
Sycamore Park
8268 Monte Vista
Anaheim, CA 92807
8:30am - 11:30am

We will also have an open batting practice Thursday (1/17).
Canyon High School
220 South Imperial Hwy
Anaheim, CA
5:00pm

Come to one or both.

Please call or e-mail to confirm your attendance. If you can't make it Saturday, call to set up a private tryout.

Well that's topical. Are you saying that there's a rumor that Bomb Squad 97 is holding tryouts?

Out to lunch, as per usual.

But my comment was actually directed to the aptly-named "bad press" BS97 tryout posting just prior (I stepped away from my screen for a minute and Milkman slipped in with an intervening post).
