Recently watched a 14U tournament and between pitches the 3rd baseman turned (not just her head, her complete body) and stared at the 3rd base coach while he gave his batter the signal.
The 3rd base coach became upset and felt it was unsportmanslike.
I couldn't find anything in the rule book taking exception to this strategy and the umpire said it was completely legal... Honestly I've never seen a team go to this extent to steal a signal....
I also don't recall seeing the USA Olympic team perform this activity which is where I really set my standard..
Is this Bush League?
