Starting a thread for tracking teams and info for ASA Nationals. Any Montgomery advice from previous visitors?

It will be the best thing that you have and will ever experience in softball for the next few years. Even with the humidity.

Very humid, have an ice chest with cloths for players to cool down with! Start drinking lots of water now LOL

Visit the Wishbone Cafe, local place and boy was the food good! Very different choices at a good price! We went for lunch, lots of locals stopped in for their lunch break.

Must eat at http://www.dreamlandbbq.com/, EXCELLENT atmosphere & food...

It's ASA 16U. College coaches everywhere. Best of all, it's in Alabama where the champs reign.

College coaches and being in the same state where the current NCAA champ resides?

Really? That's it?

Wouldn't that be any showcase or ASA national tournament in CA or AZ for most of the last 20 years without the humidity?

Will the Alabama team and Jackie Traina be making an appearance? I was just in Colorado for the Sparkler and Jolene Henderson and Monica Abbott were staying at our hotel.

Please tell me you have more....

Brutally hot/muggy, of all the Southern States that we went to for nationals this had to be at the top, not conditions I would want any kid to play in, I just kept asking myself why here and why does ASA keep going back, its just insane... thank god those days are over....

btw, lots of great food in SoCal with a nice ocean breeze :)

May want to stay away from OKC then. Not much difference.
