WEATHER UPDATE!

Huntington Beach Classic

Huntington Beach / Orange County , California -- South 1/25/2008 -1/27/2008

Return to Tournament Info

THURSDAY (JAN. 24th) -
Orange County was hit with rain on Wed. but all of the facilities say the fields will be ok to play on as long as we do not get much more rain. We will be updating this report as soon as anything changes. As of now we are still playing ball.

$$$$$$$$$ Of course "we" are....

I can honestly tell you that there are many fields under water right now and no amount of work will get them ready for Saturday. Well I shouldn't say work, but it will take a boat load of money to buy out all the quick dry in the area.

Oh, crap, it's raining right now. There goes the tournament.

A friend of mine went by Artesia and he said that on field 3 i was just water, no dirt. Field 2 has no homeplate to the backstop. Things are not looking good.

That picture that Spazdad had is pretty accurate of all the fields in the area.

I'm a few miles from the Park. I don't think it's going to happen. :(
