I am head coach of a 12 u travel team in san jose CA that has some hardcore parents and an organization that does not support the coaching staff. Instead they cater to the parents like it is a rec ball org. We play ASA A ball and we have a great team 34-4 last fall. Now we are a young 12u 97's team and we jumped right in to ASA A ball and we are facing some of the best competiition in the country. well a coach whos daughter always seems to have a problem with somone on the team has left. Now the orginization pres. says that they are forming a new team with him as mentor to the coach that left and they gave everyone a choice on wich team to go to. This is I feel completely unfair and I believe that I have no option but to find another org to call a home this org has been around 17 years and still has no sponsorship to mention and clearly has problems within the organization itself. so I am shopping 5 or 6 great ball players to another org that needs a 12u A ball team.

Hopefully you have a core group of girls that you coached last year that will follow you the new organization. One advise, see if the new organization will give your core girls a discount, that may be a good way to get them to commit. Good luck!
