Are 16U STATES and HOF still scheduled for the same weekend?

just wondering if this was brought up at the SOCALASA meeting?
WHat teams are going to HOF?? Will they still qualify for REgionals?

They are scheduled for the same weekend. The only way to get to regionals is to qualify at State by coming in 4-7th. The top 2 teams at Regionals get a berth to Nationals. If there are any extra berths to nationals, they will be given to teams that went to Regionals.

They announced that it would only affect one team in our region and that team would have to make the decision to go to HOF or State. Since HOF has 8 berths they felt that CA teams would be almost a lock to qualify. Except that every team there had to win a tournament to get there so maybe not such an easy row to hoe.
