Rachael has had a banner 2015 and as a result she got a call from the head coach of College of the Holy Cross (Coach Brian Claypool) called Rachael December 5th offering her a great scholarship opportunity to play softball there. Needless to say Rachael is very happy and Lisa and I are so very proud of her. She has put in a lot of hard work and sacrifice for years to make this possible. The long practices, back and forth to lessons, early mornings, and late nights that revolved around softball are worth it. The fact that she loves playing is icing on the cake.
Rachael has been working towards this moment for 6 years now and I think we are very much relieved and happy for her. The academics at Holy Cross are nationally ranked and the smaller class sizes and sense of community will allow Rachael to thrive!
We just want to say thank you to all of the coaches and mentors in Rachael’s life that have allowed her to succeed in the classroom and out on the field. If it was not for you, this would not have been possible. Rachael, WAY TO GO!!
