12U RANKINGS FINAL 2010


1.KILLER BEES 12U-
A CUT ABOVE THE REST.EXCELLENT PITCHING ALL AROUND AND EVERY KID ON THIS TEAM CAN HIT.RETURN OF AN INJURED PLAYER HELPS AND THE RETURN OF THEIR INJURED SS/C IN THE NEAR FUTURE WILL JUST MAKE THEM EVEN THAT MUCH STRONGER.


2.SUNCATS 98-
GREAT TEAM AS NOTED WITH VERY GOOD PITCHING AND ANOTHER GROUP THAT HITS A TON.
IMPRESSIVE WIN IN RECENT CALIFORNIA TOURNEY SHOWS THEY CAN HANG WITH ANYONE.


3.AZ HOTSHOTS 98--DEVERS
VERY GOOD PITCHING, SOME SPEED AND A MIX OF BIG BATS.
JUST NEED TO ELLIMINATE THE MENTAL ERRORS AND MISTAKES.

4.WILDFIRE 12U-
GREAT SLAPPERS AND TREMENDOUS SPEED, BEST IN 12'S THAT CAUSES CHAOS.
A LITTLE MORE PITCHING DEPTH AND MAYBE 1 MORE BIG BAT WOULD GET THEM RIGHT THERE.

5.ARIZONA HOTSHOTS 12U -MABREY
ALWAYS BEEN A FAN.VERY GOOD FUNDAMENTAL TEAM THAT HAS ALL THE PIECES. VERY GOOD PITCHERS AND SOME VERY GOOD BATS.SOLID THROUGHOUT, JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE FIRE POWER.

6. XTREME FASTPITCH-
EXCELLENT 99 TEAM WITH SOME 98'S IN THE MIX.GREAT ADDITIONS ADDED TO LAST YEARS TEAM. 2 VERY GOOD PITCHERS AND A MIXOF BIG BATS AND SPEED.THE MIDDLE OF THEIR LINE UP CAN HIT WITH THE BEST OF THE.



7. LIBERTY-
PITCHING CONTINUES STRONG AND THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN THEM DEFENSIVELY.
GREAT KIDS THAT HUSLTLE ALWAYS AND MAKE PLAYS.
2 EXCELLENT SLAPPERS WITH SOME GOOD POWER IN THE MIDDLE, THEY ALL CAN HIT.

9. AZ STORM
THIS TEAM HAS COME ON STRONG AND HELD WELL WITH SOME BIG DOGS.
THEY JUST NEED MORE PITCHING AND MORE DEPTH THROUGHOUT.


10.SCOTTSDALE STING 12U
THIS IS A 98 TEAM THAT WILL BE THERE THIS NEXT YEAR, BUT THEY HAVE USED 97'S TO HELP OUT IN SOME TOURNEYS.SOLID ALL AROUND THEY PLAY TOUGH AND MAKE FEW MISTAKES.


11. 98 CATS-
VERY GOOD TEAM AS STATED FROM A VERY GOOD 10U TEAM LAST YEAR.
I KNOW THEY CAN PLAY, BUT THE ARGUMENT REMAINS.IF YOU DON'T PLAY THE BETTER TEAMS YOU CAN'T CLIMB THE LADDER.


12. VIPERS 12U -
PLAYING WELL AND ALWAYS THERE IN THE MIX. 2 SPEEDSTERS , 1 WITH POWER AND 1 THROUGH 9 CAN HIT WELL AND MAKE PLAYS.GOOD PITCHING , BUT NEED MORE DEPTH.

Just got done attending 3 of the top 4 teams (in my opinion) and feel that my pre season

rankings are dead on....

2 of these teams added some excellent players to already talented rosters...

More updates to come and actual rankings once I get all the rosters....!!!

Good post MadDog, although I would flip #1 and 2 with killer bees on top just based on talent alone and good coaching. Suncats have excellent coaching of course and will be a force for certain but i think the KB will have their number. From what I've seen, the rest of the pack seems pretty evenly matched. The teams moving staying together from last year might have an edge to start but some of the new teams like Storm and Wildfire look to be putting together some very competitive teams. However it goes the first time some of these teams meet should be a blast.
