To bad the stealth pulled out this weekend. It would have been worth going to Coolidge to see the Cats and Stealth play each other. What kind of team pulls out just because a coach can't make it. That shows a lot of trust in the other coaches. One man show!!

Yeah wish they would have been able to stay in the tournament too just would have given everyone a good glimpse of the 14U landscape. Just as equally disappointing was that Lil Saints dropped out because their top pitcher got injured, come on they have at least 2 others ones that could have toed the rubber so they could participate.

I will confirm that Stealth's #21 is back to throwing well with the same/sometimes better velocity than before the injury. Cannot confirm the addition of a third pitcher, but we are definitely back to two strong arms with #99 & #21.

The winning run was scored ona pass ball in the bottom of the 7th inning with 2 outs.
It was a great game to watch and Team Arizona did a great job against the older kids. I dont know how anyone can say that they choked when they were playing up in age level against kids 2 years older and more experienced and still almost pulled it off. Also the Hot Shots 16u team eventualy finished 2nd in the tournament losing to a team from Colorado.

I have seen Team Arizona play three times and it seems that the expectations for this bunch of young kids is huge. I mean look at this posting. They are a first year 14u team all 97's and they loose in the first round of a 16u tournament to a 16u team who finishes the tournament in 2nd place and people are saying they choked.

Whats up with that?
