Its hugh drop from Libertys #1 to #2, without #99 pitching they are an average team.JMO

98dad - I would strongly dissagree with your statement about Liberty being an average team without #99 pitching! #99 has not pitched in all 40 something wins............

Having watched the AZ Cats pitcher who is very good (one of the top in 10U) and has won many big games vs good teams. Liberty's #2 is very similar in speed and style keeping the batters off balance and with nice change of speed and very good location. I think I even saw a crazy looking knuckle ball along with a normal change in the last tourney from her!

If you watched her pitch in the last tournament on Sunday vs the Wildfire you would have seen a complete game allowing only 1 run in a 13-1 Liberty win. I did not see her pitch in Tucson the last time Liberty was down?

Plus if you watched any of the games in the last tournament the Liberty team puts the ball in play.......they can hit vs most any team. Just my two cents......thoughts?

All quite on the bucket............any word on movements in Tucson? Do the Thundercats now have multiple teams? All star team? How about the Suncats and AZ Cats..........what has happened? Are the Suncats still going to have a team in 10's? Even if it is a 2001 team they will be good........ SV Diamonds? Did they retain their pitcher?

Let us know the climate change in Tucson......... :o

Alls quiet in Tucson too. Thundercats are still one team, from last I heard... they were holding tryouts and picked up an excellent pitcher.. I'm guessing it must be the Diamonds pitcher??
Haven't heard anything about the Suncats having a 10u team.. do think it would b great if they did. That teams has lots of young talent. As for the CATS, that's another team whose been pretty quiet.. I don't think therr has Been much movement within that team..

Liberty played well today playing up in 12's.

Good practice for their upcoming tourney in Huntington Beach.

Suncats won't have a 10U team last I heard.

10U RANKINGS

1. LIBERTY

Excellent pitching and a very good solid groups of kids makes this team hard to beat.
Good interchangable squad with a super solid infield and good outfielders to boot.
Very good coaching helps keep all focused on the job at hand.

2. THUNDERCATS

Terrific coaching of a great group. Very solid at every position and well desciplined.
They definately can play with anybody and should make for a great 10U year.

3. AZ CATS

The Cats at both age levels have always put a great product on the field.
Always neck and neck with the Suncats in tourneys played.
