Not sure what went on in the other games but but Liberty beat CATS 2 to 1
Even though it was just a friendly Liberty is undeniably going to be the #1 10u team this season.
They are a great little team have lots of speed and very aggressive. That said, the CATS held their own against them it was a very good game from what I believe are the #1 and #3 10u teams in the state.
Being a friendly CATS used these games to try some girls in different positions.. Having lost their #1 catcher and shortstop hurt them but I think the group they played against Liberty will be their main starters..
I spoke to some of the SV parents and it looks like the ACE pitcher actually went to the 12u Thundercats but will ne also helping out the 10u Thundercats when needed.
CATS over Hotshots good game not sure what the score was but the Hotshots were making great contact.
Xtreme vs CATS game was cut short because of lack of lights. I believe there was 30 min left.
Xtreme was up 6 to 2 at the time. Shout out to a couple of the girls on Xtreme who hit some bombs! A couple more inches and they would have been over the fence!
Big thanks to Blaze for putting on a good friendly with great teams! Really gave every team a chance to try new things and see what they have to work on.

I could be wrong, but if you are talking about the pitcher that throws in the low 50s, I believe she was playing 3rd base for SV Diamonds yesterday.

Yup that's her. She was helping Diamonds this weekend but once tournaments begin she suppose to be rostered with 12u Thundercats but will also be helping 10u Thundercats as well.

Liberty was 2-1 last weekend. Losing badly to SV Diamonds. Heard the SV Diamond pitcher is staying with the Diamonds............. 8-)

Not sure if 97Cats heard right or I but regardless she can throw. Liberty looked lost vs. her which is strange because I heard they faced 4 hard throwing pitchers in CA the prior week. Winning 2 of the 4 including taking down the Corona Angels who eventually won the tourney.

Also didn't see the Liberty pitcher in Tucson? Anyone?? Bueller?? Bueller?? :?

Oh interesting... maybe I did get wrong info. She sure can throw! Like I've said in the past, easily one of the top 2 in the state, if not the best. and I guess we'll find out this weekend if she's with the Thundercats or not as both 10 and 12u Thundercats are playing in the Fence Buster tourney.
It's a small group in 10u with only the Cats, Thundercats, Cobras, Wildfire and Xtreme scheduled. Still should be a good weekend of softball.

Outside of sub par games in friendlies or against teams playing with 99's, no one in AZ. has yet to really say Liberty is not the team to beat...

Agreed, and this continued talk of Liberty with or without 99 is mute.

They have very good pitching and are an excellent overall team.

The other excellent pitcher in 10's...now is pitching for 3 teams in Tucson..?

Sorry, Liberty gets my vote...!!
