Ball hits runner on way to 1st base

Batter hits pop up down first base line. 1st base overruns the play, the ball lands behind 1st baseman, in fair territory, about ten feet in front of the bag.

The ball is spinning, it hits in fair territory and heads towards the foul line, but it hits the runner in the foot while still in fair territory. The ball rolls foul to the fence by 1st base.

What's the call?

I'm not a blue so I'm just guessing --

No different than a runner going from first to second and kicking a hit ball... runner is out. So I say batter-runner is out too.

The ball passed an infielder, other than the pitcher, so unless another fielder had an opportunity to make a play, I have nothing.

FYI, this was not our game. We were playing the winner, of course this happened in the bottom of ITB.

Blue said no call, runners are safe.

Blue said the runner did not kick the ball on purpose, it hit her in the foot. But the ball did roll a long way after it hit her foot, and the ball would have bounced foul if it had not hit the runner, so it was 'lucky' to accidently hit her on the foot.

OUT!! doesn't matter that it passed F3.

ASA Rule 8 Batter Runner/Runner
Section 2. Batter Runner is out
F. When a batter runner interferes with
4. By making contact with a fair batted ball prior to reaching 1B

Exception for passing an infielder doesn't apply between Home and 1B.

Says explicitly "making contact" doesn't say kick, intent is irrelevant
