Gloves for Throwing

Speaking ASA. Are players allowed to wear any kind of gloves on their throwing hands? (Racquetball, football types, etc.) How about pitchers? Saw this asked on another site, but was never quite answered.

Anyone can wear a glove on their throwing hand, but the pitcher. The pitcher must throw the ball with a bare hand.
