Batter bunts ball and while still in the box kicks the ball as she starts to run towards first. Ball is in fair territory in the batters box when kicked.

What is the call?

ASA 7-4-I A strike is called by the umpire when any part of the batters person or clothing is hit with a batted ball while the batter is in the batters box and has fewer than 2 strikes.

Or,
Rule 1, Foul Ball

F: A batted ball that touches the batter or the bat in the batters hands a second time while the batter is in the batters box.

Defintition for a foul ball F. as Comp posted, if there was two strikes it would be an out.

I would have to see the play, but it sounds to me like it could be interference.

Not if she was in the box. It is simply a dead ball, which is equivalent to a foul ball.

What would you see that would make it interference?

Here is the OP:

Batter bunts ball and while still in the box kicks the Ball as she starts to run towards first. Ball is in fair territory in the batters box when kicked.

The word "kicks" implies an act by the batter/runner. If the batter has put a bunt down, then kicks the ball, I've got interference, no matter where the batter/runner is on the field.

The wording of the rulings posted by Comp say that the ball touched or contacted the batter. I envision kicking as the batter touching the ball...could be interference, could be a dead ball/foul ball. As I said, I would have to see the play.

I will not say that the OP is definitively a dead ball.
