What do you pay for travel ? Hell, I'll work three games for $50 if you cover my air fare and a small beverage budget ... ;)

Why don't you contact the tournament director..I'm sure he can arrange something for you.

Conveniently ASA is having an afternoon umpire clinic the day before the tournament so no one is available. I'd be happy to pay $50 and a case of your choice at this point! Might have to find a homeless guy if all else fails. I'd probably save some money too.

Of course, they are having a clinic. This happens at all nationals. However, I doubt that every umpire in the area is working the tournament. The TD should be able to give you a contact.

Or, even better, contact a couple other coaches to do it.

Or pitch to your own team. Each batter gets three pitches to either hit or sit down. Saves you money, team gets workout and if you have a batter you know needs work on a certain pitch, you have control over the selection.
