Scoring RBI's

Rule question? Get it answered here.

HS Softball. Bases loaded 1 out, Batter hits a routine fly to left. LF drops the ball and 2 runs score. In the official book it listed it as 2 RBI's. Is this correct? I have always scored a play like that 0 RBI's for the batter. Which is correct?

I believe it gets scored as a sac fly and 1 rbi, if in the judgment of the scorer, it should have been caught and the runner tagged and would have scored. Otherwise, if for example, it was judged too shallow to allow a tag up and score, then I think it goes as an error and no rbi's.
