Illegal Glove?

Rule question? Get it answered here.

by RoBBiE » Mon May 13, 2013 12:01 am

Checked ASA rules about using a first basemen's glove in the outfield and there was no rule against it. Is there a rule in high school or college that makes that glove illegal when used at another position?
Thanks in advance

NCAA 3.7: Any player can use a glove/mitt.

Federation: 4.1: Any player can use a glove/mitt.

There are still size limitations for both NCAA and Federation with respect to defensive players other than the catcher; but there is no longer a distinction between gloves/mitts (and hasn't been for years).
