Can a player get an out on a force play by touching the bag or plate with her empty glove, ball in hand?

On a force out, if the defensive player has posession of the ball they can make the out by touching the base with literally anything on their body.

As long as you have possession / control of the ball, you can get the force out by touching the base with your foot, hand, leg, etc.
