3. Ball hits girl in side the glove but pops out up in the air.
4. Girl at third takes off to home & scores ( without tagging )
5. Girl at second gets control of ball & makes the catch.
6. Girl at second makes the throw to 3rd.
7. Ump calls her safe at home.
8. I go out to ump calm as usual and ask why ump why.
9. Ump says live ball once it touches the glove and she didn’t have control.
10. I go back to dug-out.
11. Fans on my side go crazy.
12. Etc. you get it.

Please clarify....where was R1 when ball was initially touched by F4?

No, I don't think so. Anytime a runner is advancing during a live ball period, they are in jeopardy of being put out.

Now, you may have meant "without liability to be put out on appeal for leaving the base early".

I didn't feel it was obvious, which is why I asked for the clarification. OP seemed confused by the rule. Perhaps he/she meant runner did not hold bag until fielder had control of the ball, by the statement "without tagging".
