Got a question...
our team is moving up to 10U next spring and we are wondering about something.

Dropped 3rd strike...Runner on 3rd. Catch tries to make the put out at 1 can Runner 2 advance (from 3rd)? or not?

This probably depends on your local league rule modifications.

Per ASA runners can advance on a dropped third strike at 10U same as the older ages and also steal home.

Many rec/community leagues will either

A) not allow advancement on dropped 3rd strike for 10U
B) allow advancement on dropped 3rd strike, but not allow stealing home

Even if your playing in a ASA sanctioned tournament there may be rule modifications regarding this. The only time you can be sure they will use strict ASA rules is in championship play (i.e. ASA State, or some ASA NQ)

For ASA, all "special" 10U Rules were removed a few years back.

Yes again. Dropped 3rd strike definitely makes things interesting and more challenging for your catcher. Needs to have her head in the game for sure. Always needs to know where her runners are and be smart.
