UPDATED 14u Top Team Rankings – May 22, 2009 – Pre ASA State

by DodgerBlue's » Sun Dec 21, 2008 11:31 pm

I appreciate the acknowledgment of being listed with these very strong teams, we all feel we have a strong team no doubt, but I like the fact that my kids get their name up here because they are the ones who do all the hard work.

I have played most of these teams listed and agree all strong and deserve the ranking as well, I feel good knowing that we are among the best and will continue to work hard to stay here.

Hopefully that high school beak will do us good. ;) ;)

I think the Top 95's (Victory, Angels, Firecrackers) should be somewhere in spots #7-#11. Jets still a good team that should be in low-teens. I think Primetime Elite-Black was forgotten, they've got good bats and defense, just need stronger pitching(maybe spot #19-#25). But now that Fall is over.....LET THE MOVING OF ROSTERS BEGIN.....1,2,3,BANG!!!

Verdade,

You are not alone in your belief that the Lakewood Ladies at #8 are ranked to high... in fact they had dropped 2 spots from #6 in the early poll. They will be worth watching in the Spring and see if they will continue to fall in the polls!

Primetime Elite-Black did not make enough of the ballots to make the poll... I am sure your acknowledgement here will draw them more attention from the pollsters in spring.

Do we have any MAJOR MOVES YET that potentially impacts the rankings? It seems a number of teams don't have a strong #2 pitcher.... so big bats seems to be what everyone is looking for! I haven't seem one post for a team looking for better gloves... is that telling us something?

Is this the same Verdade who predicted this same LL team wouldn't make it to Nationals this past summer? It seems you're a bigger fan of this team than you give off, Verdade. LOL I hear this team is looking for another pitcher, how bout you bring your dd out for a workout ... dont fight it man, embrace it LOL

Added the Tournament & Friendly Record vs. Top 10 Fall Teams to rankings. Not sure I will be able to keep this up, most likely will only keep Friendly records for the top 94 teams, with HS ball .... this I may be able to manage.

No guarantee that friendly records are accurate anyway...

It's me Crak-a-lak!! I hold her from taking the path down to the BLACK'nRED!! Miracles happen..ya know. I was happy to see my words inspired the Red to do the impossible by qualifying. Unfortunately.....the 0-2 exit shows me my words of inspiration expired after qualifying. Actually, you can bring your daughter over and take care of our pitching need instead. We have NIFTY uniforms(except the Victory brand mesh). Whadda ya say??!!

If you want to call it inspiration, knock yourself out. Too bad that same inspiration didn’t help your own team get to Nationals. :o Not only are your past predictions of this team jaded but your record keeping at Nationals is also inaccurate. :? You continue to inspire me  oh well, you probably wouldn’t make the cut anyway…your dd would, but not you ;)

Has anyone heard anything about the 95 Renegades team?, I saw them played cts on saturday at the afc showcase and they look pretty impressing for a young team, I do believe they are still young with room for improvement. Some good hitters on that team and the pitcher look good.

um didn't you just say this in another thread:

Re: AFC Showcase Tournament?
No scores exept something interresting, a young 95 Renegades team played, not bad, still alot of room for improvement but very impressing, has anyone heard anything about this young 95 team?

and how do you have a young 95 team? Do they all have december birthdays?
It's better to keep your mouth shut and look like you're stupid......
than to open it and remove all doubt.
