After we told the umpire we'd forfeit to end it, the coach stopped. All of this happened after the game was over.

And we aren't embarrassed to discuss this in front of ANYONE because we know what REALLY happened nd still feel it today. We are saddened that it turned out this way in front of the kids when the psycho dad could have left and it would have ONLY been words in the stands.

So it happen on your team too? At least you admitted it! Thank you Dodgerblue

But obviously you didn't hear correctly. The parents and coaches separated the parties involved. Everybody went their separate ways. Crazy man was in the parking lot and the Rebel parents were near the snack bar. When he decided to run from the parking lot toward the Rebels organization and knock down two women in the process. So now you tell me who is out of line??? I don't care if someone from the Rebels team scream at him he decided to cause harm to people...

With that being said, we haven't had any personal issues with either one of their teams which are both HIGH QUALITY and TALENTED teams and coaching! I think people ge offended by the Rebels because they let it bother them. I haven't seen it be negative ever so I think it is just a tool they use to motivate their team....And it works!!

I think that both teams made some terrible decisions yesterday and it got WAAAY out of hand. I have heard all the rumors about the Rebels on this board but haven't seen it for myself so I would rather not make a comment on it. I do know that when we've played them they have been respectful. That goes for the Angels too!

I just think that both sides let that situation evolve and both are at fault......The sad part is that the girls had to see it!

That's just it though, other than the yelling of her name a few times in one inning, there was nothing else going on. He wasn't ranting and raving during the game, just sitting in his chair, quiet. When he did start yelling sucks after the game in response to the Rebels parent(s)chanting Aimie, it escalated in just seconds it seemed when the boyfriend walked over and boom, it was this huge deal, Angels parents holding him back, etc. Then it was over, parents packing up their stuff and walking out. There was no warning of what happened next, no way for anyone on the team to know or even think about it. This parent has never shown anything other than a rather laid back personality, like I said before it was surreal. Kind of hard to control a parent who does something completely out of character, taking everyone off guard and by surprise.

As far as the issue of talking coaches, complaints on the field - that wasn't a big deal, at least it didn't get people in our dugout or stands fired up, nobody even cared about it. All we heard was Aimie telling the umpire to have our coach stop talking to her or she would pull her team.

WOW, you say you didn't hear it...hmmmm but a few posts ago you said that KENNY WAS NOT TALKING TO THE DUGOUT and that ws a lie. If you couldn't hear anything, than how do you know this?

Anyone reading this can see the contradictions...like I said, you should just stay out of it.

There is no contradiction here, I said that your complaining to the umpire didn't get our dugout or fans upset, it was no big deal. And I didn't hear or see Kenny saying anything to your dugout or to your pitcher, all I heard was you call time and complain/threaten to take your team. My point here was that the Corona Angels parents were NOT all fired up in the stands because of anything going on between you and Kenny on the field. Just the one parent who started yelling your name, which as I've said before was un-called for and rude.

So, am I to see now that just because I am pointing out that this wasn't a Corona Angels uproar against the Rebels, that is was bad behavior on the part of both parents, that now it's all turning against me? This is kind of ridiculous. Just because someone is sorry about something bad that happened, doesn't mean they accept blame. Just because people apologize for things doesn't mean that other people didn't also do things they should apologize for.

I am a very honest person, when I say something I shouldn't or make a mistake, I always admit it or apologize for it. I'm not going to sit back and just let people bash our team and parents when in fact there was no tension with the other Angels parents, and none that I detected from the coaches that led to what happened. It was only one Angels parent involved in the fight, one Angels parent who for whatever reasons, regardless of what was or wasn't being said, did what he did running over to the Rebels and I don't know what happened over there, I was dealing with crying kids.

So, I don't mean to offend you or anyone on the Rebels, it is obvious that no one on your team thinks they did anything wrong at all, so that's that I guess. I was in the stands when the Rebels parent came over yelling back and forth with the parent on our team; you know he too could have kept his mouth shut, he too could have just ignored the Angels parent, he too could have just left the field.

More support, thank you cleanup. I'm glad you point out that the REBELS tried to stop it long before it happened. I wasn't "threatening" to take my team and leave. Us forfeiting to you guys is a threat? To who? I said if it didn't stop, WE WOULD BE THE CLASSY GROUP AND FORFEIT AND WALK AWAY. We also were winning at that point and then you guys scored and took the lead.

You also admit, the ONE parent was yelling my name...but you said earlier he was quitely sitting there. Hmmm, where is that post? ANOTHER condradiction. Why was he yelling my name if you guys weren't upset? My players heard this. My daughter heard this. Our parents heard this. What did they think about a psycho dad yelling their coaches name? Was that supposed to be POSITIVE? So he wasn't upset but yelled out the coaches name several times?

...and the funny thing, when he was doing that, NOBODY even gave him the time of day. We let it go. Then, after tha gem, when the parents started the "Amie chant" (was that mean and intimidating to?) he satrted with his comments. Only THEN did people get upset and start arguing. YOU KNOW THAT IS ACCURATE. So are we to blame?

Also, cleanup, come one, we ALL know you. If I was yelling at your daughter, if I was yelling suck kenny, F** Kenny, flipping you guys off, you would have said NOTHING. I do NOT believe anyone would have not said anything, especially you.

The only point: YOUR PARENT started mouthing off to us FIRST and when they respoded (which you would have too), with words only, your parent tried to fight. TWICE. He tried to fight in the stands and did fight in the outfield. That is the situation and if you don't believe your coach caused emotions to rise, you are also crazy.

Lastly, NOBODY is blaming anyone but the PSYCHO PARENT for the fight and we all saw ONLY him running over and coaches from your organization trying to stop it; I myself, have NUMEROUS parents and players in your organization that I adore too. This is about ONE MAN but when this one man wears a shirt from your organization, YOU are responsible and he represents YOUR ORGANIZATION.

I hope so too. Then EVERYONE will see what REALLY happened and I'd bet the Angels will be the discussion and NOT the Rebels. Madman running like a bull in a ring swinging at females first TRYING to stop this in front of the kids. It will also show our location in comparison to the Angel parents.

It will show we DID try to stop this, because of the KIDS, and anyone in the vicinity witnessed this. He's CRAZY!

It will also show why some of the women involved had pulled muscles and other injuries and needed medical treatment today. He's CRAZY!

The funny thing....since the Rebels are so classless...we talked about this with 3 different police officers yesteray and they all said we had a right to defend ourselves and even make a citizen's arrest. We told them we wanted to work it out within the organizations and with Gary and Dan, and we didn't want to file because of the kid and that she has had enough embarassment with all that happened. We didn't think him being arressted and court hearings all year would make it any better. God forgive us for considering the KID first, which is most peoples main concern.

Was he worried about our kids (who were mixed in with the large group) when he dropped 2 Moms?

Aimie, I just sent you a PM. Nobody is saying this is your teams fault! Regardless of things being said in the stands, there is no excuse for what happened afterwards. And to all of you who are jumping all over me, again - I AM NOT DEFENDING HIM! I was only pointing out that it was only the ONE parent from our team, NOT OUR COACHES OR THE REST OF OUR TEAM who was involved. Just because I think both parents are responsible for their behavior behind the stands, doesn't mean I think the Rebels team, coaches or families are responsible for our parent running over there and fighting or hurting anyone!

I will respond privately as well and I will be the classy person and reach out to Kenny, Marty, and Gary tonight but the reason this got out of hand here, was the posts. LOOK AT THEM. It turned into a REBEL BASH when we were defending ourselves. That is why we are trying to set the record straight, since we WERE THERE unlike most of these posters.

Would you stop already? What I said exactly if you re-read my posts is that he only yelled your name a few times in the Rebels chant, which was rude and uncalled for, then the rest of the time he was just sitting there, in his chair quiet. What do you need support for? He chanted your name out of the blue, on his own - NOTHING TO DO WITH THE REST OF THE PARENTS OR COACHES. Please do not confuse the rest of the parents with the actions of this one dad!

Yes, you told the umpire (I do not recall your exact words) basically to have our coach stop talking to you or you would take your team and leave. You basically threatened that if he didn't stop you would take your team. I didn't say that we were threatened by what you said.

Enough is enough already.

I agree with most that both sides are to blame, but I will make one comment; the Rebel Chant, and I know everyone knows what that is has the ability to bring out the worst in most. Why don't you try just cheering for the girls and see if they can win without the obnoxious chant like the rest of the teams. :o

Is it a chant or a song? We played a Rebels team last year that had a song. Everyone on our side just shook our heads.
