#24 through #27 should all be in the top 15 & #17 should be moved into top 10. JMO ;)

Hi OCwildcatMom, I'm curious what your team's experience is with the teams ranked #24 -27 that makes you feel they shoudl be ranked higher?

Did you DD's team play these teams?

Thanks

So Cal Athletics made it to Championship game at T4T & played well at Brenda Marsh. Victory Beat DD team in friendly & they look good at Brenda Marsh too. Breakers I am not too sure about but they looked strong at Monster Mash. Choppers were hitting the snot out of the ball at T4T.
Some of the teams that are in 10 --23 do not look as strong nor do they have the results that the teams 24-27 have. Thats all

Like I said in my previous post, PS96 will compete at 14u Nationals. But I believe Jynx is staying up in 16u's.

Batbusters Stith is very strong and I believe should be ranked #1, not Angels Knighten.

It was posted earlier that BB Stith is combo 96/97. They also carry a very large roster. Seems to be at least 18-20 players. But same girls seem to be playing each game. I am wondering how many of their "A" team are 97"s?? Just curious.

I checked their web site they seem to be 50-50, on Stiths and all 96's on Marquez. Both teams are MONSTERS for 14/U. Cool linked web site's.

www.ocbatbusters14u.shutterfly.com and
www.busters96.shutterfly.com

Well put together, very recruit freindly

Wish our team did that, acctualy wish DD96 could make BB team... :(

Hey Bracky any chance a 16U poll coming soon?

Yes congratulations to O.C Batbusters – Stith (Black)

1st 16U ASA turkey tournament
1st 16U AA-Toys for Tots

Yes probably will be ranked #1 in next poll. However, if you have followed the 14u poll – success in 16u does not transition automatically to success in 14u. The teams that do it usually are not the power hitting teams, but the teams with 2-3 big bats and a bunch of very solid contact hitters – think San Jose Sting last year.

Congratulations to Firecrackers 97 Sota for their victory at ASA and co-champions of AA Toys for Tots.

Had an opportunity to watch some of the Firecrackers97- Sota vs. Firecrackers 96 – Rodriguez game at AA Toys for Tots (won by 97s). Great game that was played at a very high level by both teams.

Firecrackers 97 Sota currently looks like the best team playing 14u.

Very true. That 3 feet difference can have a huge impact on hitters, more so than pitchers. The question that is that now that ASA and PGF have 14s at 40, will the 14s now playing at 16s stay or drop back down? There was an advantage to them playing at 16s if PGF had gone to 43, but not now.

Sota's team is solid and extremely well coached. My money is on them unless Stithe decides to play at 40 this Spring.

Let us not forget that not all of the teams are playing right now. Not all of the 14U teams are playing in the same arenas. Some in 14U, some in 16U and some in 18U. It is still winter. There has been plenty of movement of players and I assume there will be more before January. The clear favorites will show themselves over time.
Give Brackey some time to see everyone play and get some games in. Parents just take a deep breath. You are almost to 16U where these threads die. Yeah
