Haven't seen No Fear this fall. Based on last years team they should be around the top 11-16, but they seemed to play at the level of their opponent (i.e., can play with a top team and lose the next game to a very weak team). Again this is another CTS type of team that tends to stay on the TCS Circuit. Assuming he has the same 5-6 core players, they should be able to play at a higher level this year. If he returns 8-9 core players... copy the Victory Campbell approach and go after the top dogs hard at Fresno.
Watched Cal Thunder at a friendly - again I am not sure where they fit, but they have alot of potential. Another TCS type of team like No Fear & CTS. Would like to see them play some other solid 96's .. Crunch, Revenge, Raiders etc. in back to back weeks - but could benefit by establishing themselves as a Park City Contender and then try to sneak up on a couple teams at ASA State. A team that could make a run to qualify for Nationals, by playing friendlies both on Sat and Sun in late spring with the Sat friendlies targeting other potential Park City Teams and two games on Sunday against the "we're going to Nationals crowd." I would only pitch my #1 on Sat and use Sunday for offensive and defensive work. This group should have a lot of fun if the #1 pitcher from last year returned (was she a 96?). as I didn't see her pitch at the friendly. If she's back keep her arm fresh.... let the other teams ride their #1 into the ground. She's good enough to pitch successfully at Nationals!
