Pitching coach

by syndicate » Wed Jan 27, 2010 9:13 am

Ultimately, the coach that gets the most out of your Athlete is the one to stay with....My daughter is only 12U and has been multiple pitching coaches and has stuck with the last one for over a year now. Simply because, she likes him and she is getting better and better.

Alot of the pitching coaches have great knowledge and plenty of successful students. But if you go with a "great" one and your athlete is not improving, dont be afraid to try a new one. Having said that, dont be too impatient, mechanics, concepts , etc. take time.

And remember going to a great pitching coach once a week guarantees NOTHING. It's all on the athlete...desire, work ethic, mental attitude, and a little gift from god helps too. :D

Dave Lindsey, same style as Mike Smith, Mike Smith or Don Sarno. The best you will find!

Hate to switch pitching coaches but DD got all she could out of him. She was able to see Mike Smith tonight...very impressive and so worth the drive. We'll be seeing him once a week.

Sarno 8-)

Chuck Cheeks love for fast-pitch softball kept him on the mound for many, many years. He was a man with integrity, with a fun, competitive side that was only to be respected. It has always been his passion to teach, and pass on a legacy that he himself perfected. To him, you are one of "his girls", not just a student. One he will brag about, stand behind and be loyal too. He only wants you to succeed and be one of the greatest pitchers that has walked of his mound! I am a believer... the "windmill" is the only way to pitch with speed, consistency, and accuracy! Anything else is compromise! I know, I was a student of his! 8-)
