by spencer » Fri Sep 13, 2013 11:21 am

Just was told about a FC team (last syllable rhymes with enchilada) that has a $825 start up (this is first yr 14u) and dues are $175.

We tryed out for one that was $220-$250 a month depending on what month it was. People were paying it though. We were told straight up it was for coaches. Hey if these coaches are good and people wanna pay that kind of price good for them. I am not but if I had a lot of money I might not mind. Unfortunatly for my daughter I dont.

Wow, that seems a little high. Didn't get the whole syllable rhyming with enchilada thing, what team is that and do they have different fees between the different FC teams? All I've heard is that $25 per kid per month goes to the house. Now that's a pretty nice money maker  How about the new Team Mizuno / Batbusters / Powered By monster? Anyone have any info on what they are charging for start up fees and monthlies and requirements of attending EM, etc. at STC?

No big deal. There's more than enough parents out there willing to pay that rental fee for the name on the front of the jersey - even when their kids will basically only ever be courtesy runners or practice players.

Capitalism at its finest...you don't like it, don't spend the money... :ugeek:
