We are looking for a coach to take over in the Spring for our middle school softball program. The season only lasts a few months from end of Feb- first week In May so it is part time work. It would be hours between 3-6pm depending on practices and games (4-5 days a week) We are looking for someone who is a positive role model for our students and also be motivating and encouraging.
Here are some of the things we are looking for:
Requirements
• College softball experience or equivalent
• Knowledgeable of advanced batting fundamentals
• Knowledgeable and able to teach basic-advanced softball skills
• Knowledgeable of softball conditioning and strength programs
Qualities
• Ability and the flexibility to work with and mentor students
• Feels comfortable in a leadership position
• Create a positive learning environment through competitive softball
• Reliable and a responsible communicator who feels comfortable with corresponding with parents
• Punctual and has a reliable form of transportation
