Who looked like the teams to beat at any age?

Please, don't everyone try to post at once, do you want to crash the servers?

I would say 1 of the teams to beat at 12U will be there Feb1-3 Heartland Havoc 00 from Quad Cities. Them and the Firebirds always seem to find themselves in Championship Games.

What city is the Avantis Dome located ? I have a relative going to Pekin in Fedurary at 16u. There team plays a lot in the winter. As a team they get invited to camps at colleges, ( been to Indiana U. and will be going to Purdue in Feb.) and they then play normally 4 games besides having the coaches clinic. At these you are able to talk to coaches. They also just got back from Florida over Christmas break.

Most of the heartland havoc teams are tough.

The dome is in Pekin illinois near Peoria.

Thanks for letting me know it's in Pekin. Would you know who the teams that will be there during the week of Fed. 15-17 at the 16u level. I know that Wasco Diamonds will be there as one of the teams unless they are playing up and its a 18u weekend.

Yep! That's an easy one. It's a NSA tournament, link posted below

Waco is playing 16s.

A week or so before the tournament the schedule will be posted there too.

Looks like the central illinois diamond storm won the 16s, midland magic won the 18s last weekend according Asa points. Wish there were on line brackets or results somewhere, the usssa website is much better than the Asa site.

DD's 14U team is going 2/8. How is the dome this season? Any improvements, lighting, turf, etc?

Tourney says is for 8 teams but they have 10 listed. Ooops! Now what?

Sterling Steam 98 Gold

Same turf, same lighting but a few more bulbs were actually working. It seemed a little warmer compared to years past. It's now $5/day vs. $10 for weekend if that matters.

Pekin seems like it's one of the better winter venues in the midwest.

Curious how Pekin is compared to Ft Wayne, IN Dome and SportZone in Indy. We have considered making a trip over to Pekin, but have not yet. Maybe next year. SportZone used to be extremely loud when vball was going on, but with the addition of hockey style glass it seems to have cut most of that down.
