Just to rub salt in your wounds here, San Diego State only gave up 27 points to Air Force.

OK, the NCAA Football season is now over. After a week of games that no one even knew were going on, cared about, or just forgot to watch. We had the snooze fest that was just the latest game of the century. What used to be a hungover orgy of Football has turned into nine days of.....Pawn Stars reruns and a Twilight Zone marathon.
Back on topic, ND Football.
ND finished yet another lackluster 8-5 campaign with a loss to a very average Florida State team. They finished the season #26 in Sagarin, with the 25th ranked schedule.
First the highlights, if when you look at the history and tradition that is ND Football you can call them highlights:
31-13 win over Michigan State at home.
Sorry I can't come up with anymore!
Now the lowlights:
23-20 loss at home to that juggernaut South Florida
31-17 loss at home to USC
I will also include the two losses at Michigan and at Stanford (These are games that Notre Dame of old relished and more importantly WON)
18-14 loss in the Champs Sports Bowl (find a stadium and a corporate sponsor and we'll have us a Football game)
The dome is tarnished, I am beginning to think there's no bringing back the glory. Notre Dame Football is a pathetic shell of what it once was. It's time for the powers that be in South Bend figure that out, and act accordingly.

Lets face it. Its called competition. Other schools actually get tv time now. ND is no longer the premier place to play college football.
