Since the section hasn't voted yet how would the coach know that? I heard next year they will change. Who knows???

I think you are correct, but there was a coached meeting in our area and all the coached agree to go to CIF and recommend that this be moved starting this year. Another coach had talked to CIF and they said that it looked good that it would pass this year and that coaches have already expressed their interest in the move back.

I'm with you though WHO KNOWS!!!!

I believe it is a done deal at all levels, Varsity, JV, and Freshman. Here is a link from the IHSAA Web Site

It is a done deal, as I was told by our AD. We already have clay blocks and new pitching rubbers for both of our fields; our fields will be at 43 feet in a week or so.

Moved our pitching rubber of course with supervision from the DD a couple of weeks ago and she has been practicing off of it already.

Any rumors on ASA making the switch at 16u????

By "supervision" you mean she watched you do it and told you whether or not you screwed it up? ;)

No she actually helped, but of course I had to make a few changes to the depth etc.. so she was happy. Kind of like hanging a picture at home if you know what I mean.

After this weekends practice session it was determined a little more clay is needed behind the rubber, but all in all she is now happy which in itself is a good thing. LOL!!!
