Unless there is something I am missing? Which could be the case!

Mark 75 - It's pretty obvious that you have close ties to this team. I'm guessing your daughter is on this "top 3" team. I'll use an example to show you why I don't think they're in the top 3. Let's take the 2012 Chicago Cubs for instance. One of the worst teams in MLB by far, and have been for years. Last year, they were somehow able to beat the St. Louis Cardinals, who made it to the NLCS, twice in a row on April 23rd and 24th last year. Does this mean the Cubs are a better team than the Cardinals? NO!!!!!!! Same concept with the Aftermath (Cubs) and White Sox 2000 (Cardinals), buddy. Hope you can see what you are missing now. Just because you win two in a row, DOES NOT always mean that team is better. ;)

No Blaze, that is absolutely the worst comparison for an argument ever posted.

1) consider the pitching rotation in MLB vs any level of softball.
2) what about injuries? Did the Cards have anyone out of the game?
3) what about schedule? Did the Cards just return from a long road trip?
D) blah blah blah

Maybe these teams up north are all close enough that one or two plays can swing a game.

Point is, there is no comparison to MLB.

Fact is, the record stands Aftermath 2 / Sox 0. Only IU retains the #1 ranking after a loss!

And, no, I have nothing to do with any team in NW Indiana. Although I did sleep in a Holliday Inn last night.

I did see where they lost both to Georgia Impact-Lewis but not sure on their other games.

BackwardsK, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no comeback points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Nice Billy Madison reference IN Softbal Nut! What Blaze missed on is there are variables in the travel softball game, just as there are in MLB. If a game is played 5 months ago, what has changed since then. Have the teams lost players to weaken their teams? Have they added players to make them better? Has one of the teams practiced more in the offseason to improve more over the winter? Were the teams missing any of their key players to injuries, family vacations, or school sports? Did either of these coaches treat it like an off-season game and experiment with lineups, while the other treated it like their World Series since they had never beaten the other team before in the last 3 years? I don't know the answers to these questions, but the bottom line is indoor tournaments mean very little, and fall tournaments mean even less.

You are 100% correct! The fall means NOTHING!

Nice one IN Softball Nut. Have you really been waiting since 1995 to use that one? Hahahaha....

It really doesn't matter at this point who is top 3 or top 5 up north. The top 4 teams in the State are in Indy.

Also, if they did get beat, please tell the heybucket world how? Out pitched, out hit, errors, combination, etc.?

Sure a lot of questions by someone who thinks fall tournaments mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING???

Perfect example last years warriors (cubs) bulldog 00 (cards.) Warriors beat bulldog was a long shot but happened but who will ever know if it was a fluke since no longer have warriors to worry aboutt :D .their disbanding made 3 teams instantly better but just brought more mediocrity to nwi.it's clear the dogs still rule
