Let's change the subject and get off the high school crap!!!

How do you know they are moving up??? Most of those teams can stay at 16U if they want! I know Troy and Eric can, the chaos as well, i believe! Gators will move up i would guess! Don't know about Akedema, the chix just move players not the entire team! What's the hurry to get to18U? Most of the teams made the jump to 16U early(some way to early) and most of the recruiting is done at 16U! If they get to nationals this year, that may play into the decision! But nothing wrong with 2 years(or 3) at 16u nationals! ASA that is! More exposure at 16U than 18U! So i hear!

Looking in, we have been over this before. All these teams have played two years at 16u, their daughters are second year 16u, and they will move up. It's has nothing to do about moving up early. They played 14u, when it was time to move to 16u, they moved to 16u, played two years and now are moving up to 18u. Jesus Christ!
I swear we have talked about this at nausiasm. Most of the teams can bet the 18u's anyway, so not sure why there is a problem.

The problem I see is most of your DD's have the biggest attitude. If she has ever been benched because she is too pissed off to play, she is the one I am talking about. Now take a whole team of these girls and their "it's all about me" and they will never make it out of the first round.

I would rather have a team of girls that just shut up and play.

Sure there are some bad apples, but to put every top player into this catagory shows your ignorance. Most of these talented kids, also have great attitudes and are team first players. I know our team kids are great young ladies.

Sounds like your daughter probably got cut from one or all of these and now you have sour grapes. Just a shame.

Canocorn, you always seem to have the good inside info on teams...Silverado, I'm agreeing with looking in...where did that come from...but to take a stab at answering your thread, I can say this about our current team and teams in the past, we do not take any "head cases" or bad attitudes no matter the talent...our girls get along great and we have been pretty successful so far.

Canocorn, yes they are second year 16s! But, by age they will still be able to stay at 16 another year if they want!! Troy's girls are all(but one) 93 bdays, same as a couple of the other teams mentioned! they "all" played one year of 14u and jumped! so they could stay down if they wanted! The b-day is what determines what age you can play, not how many years the teams has been in said age group!!......Jesus Christ!

Jesus Christ! as you know by now when they are in high school regardless of "registered age" they need to play with their "class". Troy's girls are Soph's, thus that is 2nd year 16u, thus the reason why they have played 16u for two years. He will move up next year to 18u, trust me. A 93 b-day does not mean anything at 16u or 18. Why would you have a team full of juniors playing 16u. What would that prove, would that make them better, unless you were trophy hunting. That is why Freshman that play 14u are behind the 8-ball when compared to a classmate that is also a freshman that played 16u. Which one is better prepared? Jesus Christ! And I will say it again, all the teams I mentioned that are moving to 18u next year, would beat everyone of the 18u's this year, with the exception of Xtreme91, Dreams Gold, and they probably would split 50/50 with Team Indiana Gold. Don't get so hung up on birthdates at 16/18u.
Also, I am sure that Boston College would not like to see their future SS playing 16u as a Junior.
I think that your dd might be on Troy's team, and you don't want to move up next year with your 16u eligible Junior.

Nope, not on troy's team! DD's team, we have 6 girls with 93 bdays and they are all freshman! must be nice to be in the "know" so well, to know what all these teams are going to do next year when this year has hardly started!

Canocorn, I agree with the reasons for a 16u player/team moving up...now I might take some exception with saying these teams can beat all but a couple of 18s...we played the Dreams 16u team(which according to a previous thread might have been a combo team with another Dream team) and we beat them pretty easily(we were without a couple of starters, and we could have played 16u this year)...I am in no way doubting the talent of girls at 16u or overall team talent at 16u but I would not be so quick to dismiss 18u talent...Team Indiana Blue along with Diamond Chix have some players and these are just a couple teams we have faced in the fall/winter.
