If you really want to stir the pot this much maybe you should tell people who you really are or is hiding behind fake user names the only way you can get out your anger or issues with crown point, so be it but do not bring other teams into the mix or throw others under the bus. Some of us are able to move on to other teams without drama and prefer to cut ties amicably. The softball world is small and maybe you should leave the smack talking to the field.

Bulldogs 00 is a good team, made some great pickups in the offseason. The outlaws AC is a young team and needs some work but who doesn't, it's 12u. It's more about fundamentals at this age an wins or losses. Those parents out there that are in this pissing contest to see who is better need to get a hobby..it's embarrassing.

Hi "Itsmyparty". Welcome to the party! Just for the record, I have only one alias. No need to hide behind two, three, or more. Funny how you just joined and acuse me of that. So what's your original alias? I agree, every parent/fan has anger issues with their team. But, as I've stated before, I have no issues with the coaching staff of the Bulldogs 00. They are doing a marvelous job! If you look back, I have never specifically degraded any teams. I want to make it clear that will never intentionally throw any other team under the bus. Because, like you said, it's 12U. There are a lot of good older teams out there and there are also a lot of younger, less experienced teams that need work. I have just stated my opinion on how great of a team I think the Bulldogs 00 team is.

I have only one alias as well and agree that 12u should be about developing players, that was why it was disappointing to see a team playing with 5 infielders in the dome game.

Actually it is not common to see this in indoor games at all. This is very common at Ho Chunk and West Lafayette domes because the right field is very short in distance. If you go to any West Lafayette tournaments many teams do this due to the shape and distance of the field. Sometimes in indoor tournaments we have to adjust to the differences of the field. So their coaches were only doing the same thing that many teams have already done. When right field is so small you don't want your players to collide into each other and cause injury. I know our team has also made this adjustment as well for the same reasons.

I heard the Raiders Black may have played at the HoChunk over the weekend against some 14's.

Does anyone have an update on how their games went and who they played?

I heard about heybucket and the talk about the best 12U teams in Indiana. After reading all 21 pages, I just had to join. So, someone correct me if I'm wrong, which I'm sure you will. After reading this, the top teams in Indiana (no particular order) are Raiders Black, CP Bulldogs 99, CP Bulldogs 00, Gators 99, and Team Energy. Without going back and reading again, I believe these are the teams I remember being mentioned the most. Anyone else needed to be added to the mix?

I'd give my 2 cents about a couple of these teams, but being the new kid on the block, I'll wait a little while.

Bulldogs 2000 are not in this conversation

The other teams you spoke about are very good. Saw the Hoosier Storm from S Indiana and they are good. Also Harris Heat 99 are good. There are lots of other very good teams out there. Indy area - where are you? More from Mishawaka (spell?) area?

Yes, those are some of the top teams in Indiana to name a few. However you will learn that this site has a lot of haters always trying to knock these teams down just like the comment below you about Bulldogs 00. Hoosier Storm is no doubt a great team as well. But what doesn't make sense is Bulldogs 00 just beat Hoosier Storm 7 to 1 in a West Lafayette tournament and Hoosier Storm did beat them once. So I would have to say that there both good teams. Raiders Black 99 and Crown Point 99's have been dominating all the tournaments they've played but haven't played each other yet. Gators has a great program and team as well. Actually, I would love to see Raiders Black, CP 99, and Gators 99 in a tournament together. Team Energy is a new program this year and I hear they are a pretty good team as well but would love to see more of them this spring. Its really still too early in the season to knock anyone down. I think there's a lot of teams that will come out this spring after winter training that will be great competition. As we know a lot can change through the season. I know Indy Edge and Harris Heat 99's are also up there. I think we should all sit back and enjoy the competition and great coaching from all these teams and see what happens this spring and summer. Peacefully :)

2 out of the 3 were playing at the NSA Hoosier Tourny in Fort Wayne this weekend. I think Raiders Black dropped out for unknown reasons. Was really hoping to see them there this weekend but I guess we will have to run into them another time. I was hoping to see the Gators 99 there as well but they are in a tourny in Fort Wayne the following weekend. CP 99 will be there this weekend. Some great MI, OH and IN teams this weekend battling in Fort Wayne. Should be a good time.

Raiders are playing in Turf War IV this weekend in Birmingham, Alabama. This tournament will feature some of the top teams in 7 different states. Not sure what your implication was, but making the commitment to play an outdoor tournament against some of the elite teams in the south is something to truly be excited about. Good luck to the Indy Diamond Chix who will be the only other team representing Indiana in this event which has the largest field of any USFA tournament other than their World Series. The top Indiana teams will get plenty of opportunities to play each other outside. Turf War IV features many teams that placed high in ASA/USA Nationals last year. The Raiders are not traveling 635 miles to avoid strong competition. They are seeking it. Have fun playing indoor in Fort Wayne.

Big Dog,
My "implication" was just that. The Raiders Black was in the Fort Wayne tourny and now they are not for reasons unknown to me. Thanks for the info about why they dropped out. That makes sense for them to play out of state against elite teams outside rather then inside. I think any competitive team would have done so. I think you were trying to make something out of nothing by "implying" I was calling the Raiders Black team out by saying they dropped out because they were scared? No, that wasnt my "implication". I never even seen the Raiders Black play. I have heard good things about them and wanted to see them play. Maybe even get a chance to play them too. Turf War sounds like a lot of fun. Good luck to the indy teams that went down to play.
