Results from ASA/USA qualifier in Moline,Illinois: 1-2000 Heartland Havoc 2-Aftermath 3-2000 Quad City Firebirds 4-2001 Heartland Havoc Aftermath beat QC Firebirds 2-1, lost to Heartland Havoc 2-1 Skies opened up at around 4:30 and the tournamnet was called. Firebirds and Havoc were two of the classiest and well coached teams we've ran into.

It was a great weekend for softball. And a very competitive tournament. Crush 2k was in the losers bracket after 2nd bracket game. The girls came back Sunday morning at 8 am playing and winning 6 consecutive games.

NWI Sox 2000 put the Crush in the losers bracket. Great run by the Gators 01 to make the chamionship out of the winners bracket. Congrats to the Crush 2000 for an impressive Sunday run.

Congratulations to the Indy Crush for winning the "Diamonds of the South" tournament, very good well coached team, with repectful parents.
I think the tournament was well run. Great job by Cindy Inman and her staff, nice fields, lined and conditioned for each game, good umpires, all games were 90 minutes long.

CP Bulldogs finished ahead of NWI White Sox 2000 again. Same ol' same ol'. It's now proven from the last two tourneys that these teams have been in that the Bulldogs are definitely the better team.

Nice come back there cpbulldogsfan. In either of those tournaments did you actually beat the NWI sox or did you get some help to finish ahead of them? Also did you win either of those tournaments? So it's nice to see you are content being the second best 12u team in the state.
Btw...it looks like they did something you can't do. Beat the top team in the state! Oh yeah, there's an 01 team I know a lot about that took it to you as well. Eat'em up gators!!! I'm out!!!

I didn't avoid listing who put Crush 2000 in the losers bracket. Saturday's games (or Friday's, for that matter) wasn't the point of my post. NWI Whitesox 2000 beat Indy Crush 2000 4-2 in the 2nd round of bracket play. There is no shame in losing that game. We have had 3 very competitive games with this team in the last few weeks.

I agree with Bake. Very well run tournament. Great Facilities. Pretty good grilled chicken sandwich. Fans were all in good spirits.
