For those of us traveling to Bloomington for ASA nationals this summer, what is the local perspective on the best/nicest lodging options in Bloomington. At this point all the ASA recommended hotels are booked, but after states some of those blocked rooms will open. If ther are any properties to be avoided, please specify.

I live near Bloomington and my advice is to stay on Southside of Indianapolis or Greenwood area. Bloomington has some decent hotels, but not many and sure they will be pricey!!
