top central indiana 14 u teams currently June/july 2013

As much as I like the Indy Crush 00 team I really don't think they can compete with the top tier 14s.

Maybe competitive on a lot of days-but difficult winning or winning regularly. And I am a big Crush fan-just think the 2 years developmentally is a huge obstacle for most teams to overcome.

Not a chance...

Really? No chance at all?

It is in how you define "Top Tier" teams. If you define top tier as one of the top 5ish teams in the state, then "No chance". If you define it as a top 8ish through 20ish, then absolutely yes they have a chance. But no chance against most of the top 5 IMHO. Example: Would anyone say any Indiana 12U team has a chance against the Indiana Diamonds?

Thats one team you mentioned. Can you give me the top five teams? Then we know who they shouldn't even show up to play against. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps a mid-week friendly is in order. I would love to see that! I am available on Tuesdays. Please let us know when/where.

Here is the current ASA MVP Power Rankings as of today. Keep in mind that I believe the power ranking system is similar to how they rank players in Chess (ELO), so it is still a little early until you get over a minimum level of matches to make a final or true determination.

1) 122.29 Phoenix 14U
2) 119.85 Indy Dreams 14U
3) 114.92 Hoosier Storm 98
4) 108.45 Indiana Diamonds
5) 108.08 Indiana Shockwaves 98
6) 106.00 Indiana Xtreme 99
7) 104.93 Indiana Magic Gold 14U
8) 103.50 Indiana Prospects 98
9) 100.00 Indy Edge 99
10) 99.22 Southern Indiana Fillies

I did some research. Lost to Phoenix 14u 0-2, xtreme99 3-5, Hoosier storm 3-5 and 0-4. Beat shockwaves98 6-0, and edge99 8-7,9-4,2-1,11-1. That's 5-4 against your top 10 power rankings. Sounds to me like those little 12 year old girls did a little better then compete. That's just how I interpret those results. Thanks to the stat guys that helped me out with those numbers.

So, Indy Crush 2000 beat Edge '99 four times this year? No wonder we haven't heard from ejnine in a while :)

The 14u Bambinos are a solid team that nobody mentions!
They are playing mostly or all 16u tournaments.

Have any of the top tier teams played them this summer?
