Catching instructor

by makkd97 » Tue Jul 09, 2013 6:25 am

Looking for a strong referral for a catching instructor in the greater Indianapolis area.
My 14yr old daughter has caught for a few seasons now and is ready for a coach to take her through high school. She definitely has aspirations of playing in college and needs the guidance to show her what it takes.I understand many of the best instructors require a referral from another coach or someone who knows the player's ability before they accept the player to train. We are fine with this and would have the contacts available.
Thanks

Sara Agnew @ RAM Sports Academy. Sara caught as a college player and works very well with the girls. She can be reached at (317) 796-2363 or ramsportsacademy@gmail.com. I have a very good catcher on my team that went to Sara this season for lessons and I have seen quite a bit of improvement in her game play.

There is a gal who teaches over at Fuel performance, who caught at MI State....name escapes me . But call Fuel performance and they can put you up with her. I've watched her coach...she knows what she is doing.

2 people I would trust to get your daughter 'college ready'
Roger Nicholson @ Champions Edge, he is awesome! He does a series of drills that really help. He works on framing, pop times, throwing mechanics.

Chauncey Bell from Alabama Uni. I had the pleasure of playing with her and she is more than capable of instructing your daughter.

Her name is Brett Williams and she is awesome. Our daughter has learned a lot from her. She takes the time to really talk to them and answer questions, not just an hour of drills.
