As someone who has both coached and umpired, don't put yourself in a bad situation.

Every man lives by a code:
1.Always look cool
2.Never get lost
3.If you get lost, look cool

As long as he's not umpiring his teams age group, I dont see the problem

I didn't see his 8U team at the "showcase" this weekend, but I was only there Saturday.
