SOUTHERN STAR ALL-STAR SHOWCASE - LA



The Southern Star All-Star Showcase has just finalized the plans for an All-Star (or individual) Showcase event to be held in Lake Charles, LA January 24-25, 2009. This is the last weekend before college games begin for most levels so college coaches are still available to recruit and many will be in attendance. The Southern Star has held several very successful events in the Georgia area and by request of several college coaches in that area are holding one in this area that should be of interest for players of high school age in the Louisana, Texas, Arkansas area of the country. This is an outstanding opportunity to show your skills in front of college coaches without regard to year in school.



This event is for individial players to sign up for and is not a team event. This is your chance to show your skills. Players are chosen and divided on to teams to display their skills under the watchful eyes of dozens of college coaches. All players must be of high school age and be on track to graduate in either 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012 to be eligible to participate.

Girls playing high school basketball can still participate by requesting to be on a Sunday only team. Games will be played on late Saturday and all day on Sunday.



Deadline to enter is January 10, 2009. Only 110 players will be accepted.
