We have a lot of Houston teams so why are there only 60 something votes on this poll???? :ugeek:

who the top 12u teams are is simple. its the teams who have good consistent pitching. and those same teams who have a solid glove at every defensive position. if you have big bats, thats good but if those bats are liabilities on defense , and you cant make simple plays than im sure all of those teams have already been exposed somewhere this fall. dont fool yourself, the ball eventually will find everyone. just hope its not at state or nationals . just my lil o 2 cents

Hey, it is the fall. When spring rolls around and teams have tryouts again Im sure it will change. I wonder who will look for a new team ? There are plenty of positions on the teams in the poll that could change after spring. Why would a really good player be a number two on a team, or play a out of position when they could move to another good team, make that team stronger and be a number one, or a starter ? It will happen, and the teams will have to fight for the top spots again ! Hide and watch ! 8-)

I guess you never know, but I was not talking about my dd. I have heard things when at tournaments ;) I might be talking about your team ! :o I'm sure there will be opertunity at our spring tryouts for the right players. I think it is clear on our team that players will be challenged for there position week in and week out ! If you are on a well coached team with compititve enviroment every position is open, and who ever shows they are the best choice will be playing it ! That is the type of enviroment that produces quality ball players.

I guess since the cat is out of the bag. Hammer's daughter has committed to play with me in the spring. I hope this clears everything up for everyone.   :o Gone to the fields to get some hitting in with my daughter. See everyone at Katy Christmas Classic.

Just a joke. I know how the softball world operates. It was fun to stir the pot a little though.

I think the top 12u teams are the teams that are winning the tournments and showing well in the rr's. That is what the bottom line is. Showing what you are on the field. The Katy will be a defining moment for the fall. Just about everyone except the (Red Hots) who I understand are playing up will be there.

There are some good 98 12u teams out there. Will they be focused enough to give the 97's some competition. I think there will be some unexpected upsets but the strong 97 teams "should" take care of business in the end.

Good luck to all dress warm and have a great week-end just enjoying the softball
