12u South Belt Friendly 02/25-27

by HotBox » Mon Mar 01, 2010 6:41 am

The South Belt Tourney should have some exciting Softball this weekend if the weather holds up. I will be there among the rest of my long lost Bucket heads that have abandoned me. If I could only infiltrate the fence line .
Now for the rumor mill .... There's been a lot of low talking about a couple of solid teams in trouble that could lose key players. If you need players be patient there soon could be several on the market. The problem is that the softball clicks can't keep their mouth shut about how great their DD's are and bad mouthing the Coaches therefore it's finding it's way back to the Coaches . A Coach can only put up with so much before the ax drops I'll see you on the DIRT

Wow..... From what I saw this past weekend was rough on the eye's. No one locally performed well with the exception of StormElite. The SE looked solid in hitting and performed very well on the dirt. Very impressed with these girls they should go deep in National if the team can hold up. RH's appeared to struggle in every aspect. It appears it's no longer a cake walk for this team they actually can stay here locally and find some stiff competition in 12U. HighVoltage appeared to struggle as well but had solid pitching as well as a solid defense. The TxSting101112's as a whole looked rusty on the field as well as in the batters box but are contenders if they can get their pitching under control. The Groove had some heavy hitters in the box but need field work. Austin Finest girls travel 2 hours to show that they can contend with any local H-Town team. They looked solid all the way around. Over all it was great practice for those that attended. It definitely showed the area's that need improvement. You add the Rattlers, Texas Heat and the Cobra's to this list and you have the top contenders in H-town.

Who won the the TPS Tourney?????

Congratulations to the 2 DD's that took it yard for the ICE and TxSting. They were BOMBS...
