I was at home. Had some illness "run through". I know nasty.LOL. Back in action this weekend, where is the place to be? I know Tx Lite has a preety good one coming together, is there anything over at BBUSA? Don't make sugarland often but maybe i could drive over special like.

Storm Elite played some great ball. They made good defensive plays, the bats were on and they even had 2 girls hit them out of the ball park. Way to go Storm Elite & congrats # 10 & 42 on the homeruns!!! Way to go girls.

Hawks played very solid with good close games with Sudden Impact and Sting.
Good pitching and hitting by all 3 teams.

(Haven't seen Texas Hawks, but have heard and read some good things about them)

IMO, the 2010 season is going to shape up just like years in the past. With the talent pool so spread out across the greater Houston area, there will be a number of good teams, but none really that much better than the next. I would expect to see 8-10 of these teams making a serious run at the end. With the exception of any roster shake ups, I hope that all the teams above will be at the top of their game in May/June. Should make for some great softball to watch during the qualifiers.

it was great to watch some girls knock the sox off of the ball this past weekend. the teams that are supposed to be good appear to be headed in the right direction. the thing that i was suprised to see was how many 14u teams there are out there that should be playing league ball. i guess if mama and daddy want to spend the money theres always a team out there.
this weekend will be the first real test for many at the new braunfels bomber tournament.

Thanks! #10 is my DD and I almost missed it. I was in North Houston at my son's baseball tournament. They had a long break so I jumped in the car and headed south, made it in time for the game and the Homerun! It was a sweet blast over left center.

It was a great weekend for some ball, see'ya out at the park
