Probably not the direction it's headed but you see this from time to time. A few of my favs from the last 3 years:
Select coach screaming at his players and humiliating them in front of college coaches. I would call that a 'disgrace'....college coaches just shaking their heads. But that wasn't North Texas.
Stalling in a pool game that has no bearing on seeding, then proceeding to argue with parents from the other team. The spitting over his shoulder towards the parents was the kicker.
A more recent experience. A 6U t-ball rec (combined 4-6 year olds) coach aggressively going for the win, playing the most 'gifted' 5 year olds on defense as close as legally possible the entire game. Why throw it to first when you can just run from 3rd base to 1st and beat the 4 year old out? Fundamentally a 'disgrace'. Of course, he's the only coach to post the scores.
Point is, there are A$$'s here and there. How parents buy into the coaching philosophy is beyond me.
