Come and get the money in mansfield 12 U

by 98dadHFPTEXSoftrocks » Mon Nov 15, 2010 6:19 pm

IF YOUR TEAM HAS TO MOVE UP JANUARY 1 2011, YOU HAVE TO PLAY

IN THE AGE GROUP YOU WILL BE PLAYING JANUARY 1 2011

THIS INCLUDES PLAYERS HAVING TO MOVE UP JANUARY 1 2011.

THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. ROSTERS WILL BE CHECKED AND

PLAYERS AGES WILL BE VERIFIED BY BIRTH CERTIFICATE

OR CURRENT VTD OR ASA CARD. ANY TEAM VIOLATING THIS

POLICY DURING THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY

DISQUALIFIED AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED ANY MONEY

1ST PLACE $1000.00 CASH PRIZE

2ND PLACE $500.00 CASH PRIZE

3RD PLACE $150.00 CASH PRIZE

Teams

1 Outta Control 98 (Joiner)

2 99 D-BAT (Black Sox)

3 98 Tomboys

4 Texas Bombers 98

With these rules and what they offering there should be more of a turn out .

Seems to me that the Houston teams would love to come to DFW and take our money.

Or do they always expect us to come to Houston?

Do they just think we are suppose to travel down to Houston all the time, and play on there awful fields putting up with there home cooking umps?

So, this is a call out to TPS, Sugarland Smash, Houston Power, and everyone else in the greater Houston area who thinks they have the best 98 or 99 team.

Come and play on some very nice fields, and help out a good cause. Sign up and see if the best teams around don't follow!

Big time call out to Houston, but not much details regarding times, etc. Only four teams listed so far and the only one of those I have personally seen in Houston is Bombers 98. I could be wrong on that, however.

Could this be conflicting with the 67 team Spring Chistmas Classic...can't tell since dates are not listed. Could it be that North Texas gets a little chilly in December? More details would help, but it might be a little late to plan a trip to North Texas with school basketball and other conflicts.

Good cause? What cause?

Who is hosting this event? Not Mansfield Girls Softball.

This tournament will not make. They combined 12/14u, prize money is "TBD" and there is no good cause. No money is going to charity, no toys are being taken, etc.

If this tourney is the weekend of Dec. 11-12, then that would explain why you are not seeing any Houston area teams. That is the same weekend as the 12U Spring Christmas Classic that teams signed up for a couple months ago. The SCC will be a strong tourney loaded with good teams and is very well run. I doubt if many would be willing to chance the weather with such a strong, well-run local tournament the same weekend.

The SCC has 27 confirmed with 3 pending in the 12U division. Should definitely be a good one.
