How is NTX softball Doing ????

by slaphitter » Tue Mar 29, 2011 3:22 pm

I can't seem to get anyone in STX interested in talking about their 12u teams. They all seem to want to stay under the radar. Usually you can't stop them from bragging or at least supporting their teams. Maybe it is spring fever and things will pick up in the summer.
How are the NTX teams coming along ?????

The first showdown for a few of these teams. RR in Southbelt was the warm up. Let's see how this plays out in a tournament setting.
I'm all in on this pick. I would like to see Force vs Smash in the final but my gut says Force vs Panthers if the bracket gods allow it to happen.

Katy Force 98 - Kelly Clark
Panthers 98 - Langston
Smash 98 - Ronnie Tovar
Storm Elite 98 - Aaron Longoria
Texas Rage 98 - David Rowton

1) Smash -- Healthy again -- Time for them to show their stuff -- Defense ????
2) Panthers -- Have not done much so far "but" they have the kids to do it --
3) Force -- Played mostly 14's -- Did okay in rr last week -- pitching ?????
4) Storm Elite -- got the talent -- need to be more consistant
5) Rage -- slow starters -- may start playing better this week-end

Would liked to seen Heat, Power and Tps 98 in this one also. That would have made a very interesting tournment.

Congradulations to Force for their win and to the others in the top 5 for their finish.
And yes, playingharder, it appears Force's pitching was sufficient to win in this tournment. Good luck girls and keep up the good play.
