Maybe they really placed fifth. My point was that it was rather innocuous because it didn't give them an advantage in points over anyone else for standings in VTD, whether they placed 5th or 24th. Sorry.

According to the VTD point totals, 98 Glory actually received 8 points for the March Madness tournament.

Originally it had 2 points. Don't know when that changed. I think they still finished 5th after you do the tie breakers. The only teams that care about VTD points anyway are the ones who don't get an automatic bid for VTD Nationals or World Series through a qualifier. Most are shooting for ASA Nationals.

Probably around the same time they realized that giving themselves a fifth place instead of a "Did not place" would look a lot better on their record.

Kind of curious. Why are there 2 5th Place finishers this past weekend and only 1 5th Place the weekend before? Maybe you were right @ 98 Glory Vess Express.
