Texas so BIGGG!

In Cali its all about SoCal. In Ga. its all about Atlanta, etc., etc.. But Texas..........such a huge state. In the opinion of the readers here, who would be considered the BEST of the BEST in the entire state in 12u and 14u. No smack talking is trying to be started just wondering becuase you guys have such a huge area. Do the top Texas teams travel all over the state to play each other. For example in 14s and even in 12s in the Southeast the best teams from Ga, Ala., And Tenn. have to get together. You guys ever had a Texas get together? Best of luck to all.

The "top 12U Texas teams", according to the so-called website experts, across the state have met in three tournaments so far this year. Many times the stronger 12U teams will just play up to encounter stronger competition to prepare for the stronger teams across the nation because the state is so big. I will leave the website chest pounding for others.

Texas is so big, but everyone seems to travel to where the big tournaments are being held. My DD played 10U-18U and we always traveled all over Texas. We are from Bryan, and traveling to Central Texas, Houston, and Dallas/FtW was a normal weekend.

Houston still has to be the best area if you are measuring it off of Championships and Major DI commitments. Dallas area is a close second and Central Texas is catching up real fast. The biggest tournament in Texas at the High School aged level is the RMD in Houston, I think the second biggest is the Elite showcase in Dallas area. Teams from all over will travel in every division to play.

The Bombers in south/Central Texas hold tournament that just about every legit 10-14U teams attends.

On average most teams are traveling 2-4 hours just to get to these tournaments.
