"Parents suck! They baby their kids, run their mouths, chirp at the coach and each other in the stands and tell little Susie she is a star even when she plays like crap.
I give them the same speech each season.
Sit down, shut up or get out. If you dont like it, leave and I will have 20 girls at try outs for your spot on this team Monday morning."

Diz
Force is not a large organization and our teams are made up mostly of local girls who have played for us for years or who want to be part of our local Force organization. I simply take my kids and play anytime and anywhere. They have done well over the years.
I do not have overly large turn outs for my try outs but the players that do show up are usually quality kids, quality families and quality softball players. Like all teams we have some players and families that do not work out. That’s just part of the game. I know most of the families in my organization quite well and would never talk to them like that. I do appreciate the challenges of coaching a team and working w parents. Its not easy. I am both. Quite frankly it’s a lot easier to coach, than parent. As a coach I can be objective about all of the players (mine included) and do what is best for the team. As a parent watching my kid play on another team I have a more single focus and I am more concerned about my child. Both experiences make me a better coach and parent. Please leave my girls out of your discussions on FB. It’s quite weak. I did not see anybody calling out teams or organizations until you entered the discussion. See you at the park and good luck this week.

Parents suck. We just do. We can't help ourselves. It's our nature. Biotch drives the point home

I think the perfect team would be a group of talented kids from an orphanage :D
