Was just saying I look forward to seeing the Fusion teams play this fall. They do have some talent in the organization. I like the Gold teams chances, 16U team will be competitive (but don't see were they improved), I think the 14U team will be one of the strongest teams at that level, next to the Kruzers.

Texas Fusion Gold has added some of the best players in the area to their already Gold Qualifing team. This will give Slade the most talent he has ever had on one team, and you already seen what he has done with less talent.

He has a history of getting really good draws. Two and out when he doesn't.

I just got a call that I was mentioned here. I am Jimmy Petrick and I am not IHOP. I actually had to create an account just to post this because I gave this up when they turned VTD in to a police state for this kind of chatter. I was probably one of the main reasons VTD did what they did because I call it like I see it. I don't have to hide behind a stupid name so I can make ridiculous comments, snide remarks, etc. and feel like I got away with something. I haven't started back in to these forums because people can't keep their conversations at an intelligent level, thinking they have to take pot shots to weaken the game especially in North Texas. If you folks aren't man enough to use your real name, why do you feel the need to try and out somebody by trying to figure out who is who? Step up, say who you are and back up your mouth with substance.

This is the first ever comment I've posted on this forum. Don't use my name unless you know what your are talking about. Yes, I am part of Texas Fusion, am very proud of it, have put a lot of years in believing in Slade's philosopy, (not to elevate him or get my daughter playing time), but to elevate the game to another level.

I agree with all of you that are in to great discussions about what is going on in our sport and analyzing North Texas, but when you others start mouthing off trying to cause trouble you don't do anything positive for the sport here and you just show how ignorant you are and how little you know about the game.

Know what you are talking about before you pop off and be able to back it up with substance. Go start another discussion called Loser Ball so you can swim around in your own self pity wondering why you never aspire to accomplish anything great because you can't see the big picture....

Here is your answer, I don't pay any attention to it because I stay focused on the big picture of qualifying for ASA Nationals and helping this sport grow to rise above your little miserable world so we can consistently compete with the West Coast. Those with Rec Ball mentality like yourself help keep North Texas weak.....

Will VTD use to be fun also until this crap happens..This isn't a forum to cure cancer or how we are going to get the next rocket into space this is softball forum. I would like to recognize all the coaches like DAN, SLADE, Shelton, Bell, JD etc and other top coaches in the area that sometimes get polked fun at and realize it's harmless fun and they are man enough not to throw a fit on here, btw Dan had a good day on here today.

I hope we are adult enough to leave players names out of the forum, so we can continue to have fun pushing the line of humor with each other.

All the top organizations and top coaches please consider it a honor that people are talking about you and your teams that means your getting it done on and off the fields. Lots of times when coaches get on here they are funny and stating the facts about their teams or organization and giving bulletin board material to other coaches to fire their teams up.

Hell Lori can even be fun.

Well.....I have been a good boy for a while, but now I'm back! I know that Mr. Petrick can take care of himself, BUT I think I can emphathize with where he is coming from. Too many times on these boards, people will accuse, slam, or otherwise degrade people, teams, or entire organizations. What does it accomplish? Does it elevate you, your DD's, or North Texas softball? Sometimes, when the idiocracy gets to be too much, I will try and turn the topic into another stupid direction just to show the lunacy of the postings. I have been accused of slamming people and teams, and I take that personally. IMHO, if you are going to accuse someone of something, Man up and prove it and don't be afraid to post who you are. Most everyone on here knows my handle and who I am, but for those who don't I am Honcho55....or you can call me Dan Beaty....my step-daughter plays for fusion 14U, and proud of it. I don't re-live any failed athletic aspirations through her or any of my 4 kids. I don't toot my own horn about my own athletic accomplishments.
